Reliability
July 2008 -many customers have returned for their 2nd or 3rd vortexer from us at Lab-tek International Ltd. We monitor vortexers built and sold to our local medical laboratory and they are still running after 8-10 years. The one in the steriod lab gets a real hamering for several minutes every day. It was still running after 8 1/2 years but we replaced the rubber standoffs and motor as a precaution in Dec 2008 Another has been operated in a cold room (which we don't recommend) for several years. A vortexer from the Philippians needed a replacement motor after 3 years. However we found this had been used at least 4hours daily since new so thats reasonable!
